The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) unveiled the 2019 Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40, which recognizes young leaders who are shaping the future of the industry. Sean White, vice president and general manager of First Wing Jet Center located at Indianapolis Executive Airport, was named one of the Top 40.
“Rising leaders from across the world are bringing fresh ideas and valuable perspectives to business aviation, elevating the industry to ever-greater heights,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “NBAA is privileged to share the stories of these dynamic young women and men.”
This year’s second annual Top 40 Under 40 list was selected by NBAA’s YoPro Council, a group of business aviation professionals and NBAA staff liaisons working to build relationships between the industry’s emerging leaders.
Sean began his aviation career as a teenager, earning his Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating before attending both Purdue University and The George Washington University to receive his B.S. in Business Administration, Economics and Public Policy. After college and before returning to Indiana, Sean worked for President George W. Bush at the White House, U.S. Small Business Administration, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Sean White is a graduate of Carmel High School and currently resides in Westfield with his wife, Kaleena, and two daughters, McKynzye and Addisyn.
White’s NBAA 40 Under 40 Profile:
“The White House-to-FBO pipeline is not a typical business aviation pathway, but it’s paid off for White. Politically inclined, savvy and curious, he has built a strong, unique resume: strategic positions in the federal government, an Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association award for helping develop its Fly-Ins, a key role preparing Indianapolis’ aviation infrastructure for the 2012 Super Bowl, and head of outreach for the Indy Connect transit program. Most recently, he’s helped grow First Wing Jet Center, guiding his team to recognition from the FAA and Cirrus Aircraft.”
